Elite Infrastructure Group was founded in 2023 by co-owners Carson Heffner and Will Duke, who brought decades of combined, hands-on experience in civil construction and utility work to the venture. The company wasted no time making an impact — Elite’s very first project was an $8 million apartment sitework contract, a major undertaking that set a fast pace right from the start.

In the time since, Elite Infrastructure Group has grown from a startup into a team of roughly 100 employees. What began as a company focused primarily on utility work has expanded into commercial projects, public sector contracts, and subdivision development, giving the business a diversified and resilient foundation.

Along the way, Elite Infrastructure Group has taken on complex, high-impact work, including the Lower Adams Creek Sewer Outfall in Mount Pleasant, N.C. — a project that reflects the technical expertise and reliability the company has built its reputation on.
